Few-step adapters for the H3 open video model shrink up to 4.5x and ship as ComfyUI files
A set of few-step adapters for the H3 open video model landed on Hugging Face, converted to ComfyUI files and made 2 to 4.5 times smaller; the originals ran 11.5 and 17.2 GB. The detail I care about: these per-hop adapters are the only thing the method adds, so the files plus the base model are all you need. There are int8 versions of the reference-images-to-video-plus-audio adapters too, at 4 and 8 steps. The open world is chasing speed; in Klovera, fast is already the default.
A popular AI image tool released its version 3 image editing model on October 15, its first to appear on an image-editing leaderboard, and this week it added Ultra, the model's highest thinking mode, alongside the default. Ultra lands at number five on that leaderboard, with quality about level with Nano Banana 2.1 and MAI-Image-2.6. My read: Ultra is a mode you choose, not a new model. ElevenLabs released Eleven Realtime v1 Mini and v1 Max, models that fold speech recognition, reasoning and text-to-speech into one so a voice agent can hold a conversation. Mini handles everyday chats cheaply; Max takes customer support, scores 98.8% on spoken reasoning benchmarks, and starts speaking in 0.57 seconds. Both run through ElevenAgents or a Realtime API, in over 90 languages with 17,000 voices. I keep coming back to that half second; in Klovera the reel's voice speaks first, so the script still matters.
