Twenty accounts' reels this morning, four I could not scroll past, and 13 launch stories that became four write-ups, all before 6. In the clips, a Rottweiler's getaway with a terrier at the wheel, a garage door against a mob, a moustached man holding a rose for a woman who keeps reading, and a goodbye kiss a husband nearly misses. After the clips come OpenAI's Terra, ElevenLabs scoring a video, Reddit predicting ad results, and an ad tool's mini-apps, and last a solar installer who kept posting roofs.

🤖 News & Updates

OpenAI's post says GPT-6.1 Terra is a faster, cheaper model that reads the screen, acts across apps, and writes for everyday computer work. That is the whole post, so I will keep to it. The detail I care about is the screen part: a model that sees what is open and moves between apps is aimed at the dull half of a creator's day, not the making half. The making half, the clips that sell what you sell, is what members already do in Klovera.
ElevenLabs has launched Instant Soundtrack, which analyses a video and generates music and sound effects for it in one go. That is all I have beyond the name. What I like is the order of it: the picture first, then the sound fitted to it, rather than a track picked off a list and the cut bent to match. Sound is half of why the clips in Trending work, and every prompt I write in Klovera names the music before I press go.
Reddit has added three AI tools to Ads Manager: a planner that predicts outcomes before launch, an optimization score that grades every ad as you build it, and budget optimization that moves money to the ads that perform. None is a new ad format; they sit inside the campaign workflow, and the planner and the score go to all advertisers. A score cannot fix a dull ad, though. The ads I would feed it are the ones members make in Klovera.

The one who should move, doesn't
In all four clips the viewer sees it before the person who should. The terrier has the wheel and keeps grinning, the father has his back to the mob, the woman keeps her eyes on the page, the husband has his keys. I think that gap is doing the work right now: when I can see what a character cannot, I want to shout at the screen, and the shout turns into a comment or a tag.
1. A Rottweiler's getaway with a terrier who will not drive

📈 1,680,952 views · 6,515× @tamika_2.0's usual

A Rottweiler holds an orange ball in the passenger seat while two men crouch outside, staring. He lobs it at them, they charge, the terrier panics, and my favourite beat is the men hauling him out while the little driver smiles and does nothing.
Why it works:
- Let the driver do nothing. The terrier's smug smile while the Rottweiler is dragged out the window is the whole joke to me.
- Open on the standoff. A big dog with a ball and two men crouched outside tells the whole setup before anyone moves.
- Keep the lines to three words. "Go, go, go", "Do something" and "Help" do all the talking, so the dogs stay dogs.

2. A toddler says Daddy look and a mob charges

📈 2,775,592 views · 775× @not_yourjune's usual
▶ Watch on Instagram
A toddler says 'Daddy, look' and a father turns to see hundreds of men sprinting at his garage. The door fails, a car hits the house, they climb to the attic, and I held my breath as hands close on his legs.
“Quite a angry men”
— a viewer, @enrique9693387
Why it works:
- Let the child see first. 'Daddy, look' lands before the father turns, so I spot the mob a beat ahead of him.
- Make the door useless. A garage door closing on hundreds of sprinting men is a promise that it will not hold.
- End with him still hanging. It stops with hands on his legs and the child saying hold on, so people argue the ending.

3. A moustached man, one rose, a woman still reading

📈 2,942,020 views · 75× @teepuandshabbo's usual
▶ Watch on Instagram
An animated man with a huge moustache nervously plucks a red rose from a wall of roses. He kneels by a woman reading on a bench and holds it out, and I waited with him until she takes it, breathes it in and smiles.
“I want part two ..”
— a viewer, @aqeelahmad.mdr
Why it works:
- Hide the rose first. He keeps it behind his back for a beat, so the reveal is the first thing I wait for.
- Let her keep reading. Her eyes staying on the book while he kneels is the whole tension, and it costs nothing.
- Pay off with one breath. She smells the rose and tucks it to her chest, the beat couples tag each other on.

4. A pregnant wife puckers up and her husband walks out

📈 32,884,567 views · 43× @nayastories.ai's usual
▶ Watch on Instagram
A pregnant wife in pink pyjamas puckers up for a goodbye kiss while her husband fusses with cologne and keys. He walks out and her lip trembles, and I exhaled when he freezes on the path, sprints back and kisses her, then her belly.
“Minimal pake plat Jambi dulu😭”
— a viewer, @ininatalya_
Why it works:
- Put the pucker in frame one. Her closed eyes and waiting lips are the first frame, so I dread the miss before he leaves.
- Give him a real distraction. Cologne and keys are what a man leaving for work actually does, which makes the miss believable.
- Make the fix bigger than the miss. He comes back, kisses her, then kneels to kiss the belly, which is the moment people send.

Concept: Hook (0–2s): a woman in a yellow raincoat reads a paperback at a rainy bus stop while a small boy behind her holds up the red glove she has just dropped. Turn: he taps her sleeve, climbs onto the bench and waves the glove across the top of her book, and she keeps reading. Payoff: she looks up, laughs, takes the glove, and he bows as the bus pulls in. Why people share it: everyone has been the boy, and everyone has been the woman. 9:16 vertical, 12 seconds. Soft 3D animated style. The woman is in her thirties, yellow raincoat, grey scarf, one red glove on her left hand. The boy is about six, blue puffer jacket, red wellies. A city bus stop under a glass shelter, late afternoon, rain falling, grey light with a warm shop window behind them. 35mm lens at the boy's eye height, a slow push in, then a low angle when he climbs the bench. 0–2s: she reads, the glove drops, he picks it up. 2–5s: he taps her sleeve twice, she turns a page. 5–8s: he climbs the bench and waves the glove across her book. 8–10s: she looks up, blinks, laughs, takes it. 10–12s: he bows, the bus doors hiss open, end on his grin. Lines: "Excuse me." "Miss." "Your glove." "Oh. Thank you." Location sound: rain on the shelter roof, a bus braking. Music: light pizzicato strings, about 110 BPM, playful and warm.

🤫 The Daily Secret
Film the bill, not the roof
A solar installer wrote to me last week with the question I hear most from trades: how do I use AI to get more leads without hiring a marketing person? He had been posting drone shots of finished roofs for two years, and every one looked like every other installer's finished roof. His feed was a catalogue of rectangles. Nobody had ever messaged him because of one.
I told him the problem was not the camera, it was the subject. Nobody wants panels. Nobody has ever wanted panels. They want the moment the electricity bill comes and it is nearly nothing, and they want to be the neighbour who says so first. Most installers sell the roof because that is what they are proud of. I would sell the kitchen table, the envelope, and the face of the person opening it. That is the only part of solar a buyer can picture themselves in.
