Google DeepMind's Genie 4 world model went into research preview on Tuesday. It holds a scene for up to two minutes, double Genie 3's limit, with better physics and more humanlike characters, and you can type a prompt mid-simulation to change it. It also makes real-time audio to match: music, ambient noise and dialogue. It is a preview, not a tool for this week, so the finished reel still gets made in Klovera; what I want from it later is a backdrop that answers back.
