A 33-billion-parameter video model with synchronized audio is open to download

A popular AI video tool has posted the weights for a 33-billion-parameter video model on Hugging Face, open for download. A post-trained variant of its main model, it makes video with synchronized audio in six sampling steps. Output is 480p or 768p at 24 fps, 5 to 15 seconds, eleven aspect ratios, with 32 kHz stereo in the MP4. Sound and picture landing in one pass is the detail I care about, the thing that makes a Klovera clip feel finished rather than silent.

An ad tool relaunches free, with starter credits that work on all 12 of its video models

A popular AI ad tool has relaunched as a free AI video generator. The credits a new user gets at sign-up now work on all 12 of the video models, with no watermark, no expiry and commercial use included. I notice the announcement says nothing about what comes after the starter credits. Access to models is getting cheap fast, and the thing that still costs time is the idea. That is where I start in Klovera: a character, a place and a script before a credit is spent.

@ideogram_ai shows a precise edit that changes one selected area up to 2K

Ideogram posted a new edit it calls a context-window precise edit. You select an area inside a high-resolution image, up to 2K, and the model changes only that, leaving everything outside untouched. I found no prompt or workflow in the post, just the feature. For a seller that is the fix for the one-thing-wrong shot: change the label and the rest stays put. In Klovera I keep the same discipline in the [CHARACTERS] line: same person, same jacket, every shot, so nothing drifts.

Familiar scenes pushed one absurd step further

Every one of today's four starts in a scene you already know and takes exactly one step too many: a shopping trip, a gap to cross, a newborn at home, a bedtime routine. I think that is why they travel. The familiar half does the explaining, and the absurd half is the excuse to tag someone.

1. A 1950s witch who refuses to fly economy

A 1950s witch who refuses to fly economy

📈 368,005 views · 42× @afanasyeva_ir's usual

▶ Watch on Instagram

A platinum-blonde 1950s witch in black satin steps out of a gold boutique with an armful of pink shopping bags. A broomstick glides to the curb like a valet car, she sits sidesaddle, bags and all, and lifts off over the palm trees.

“Se for pra ser bruxa , tem que ter classe”

— a viewer, @mfatimaramoa

Why it works:

  • Dress the witch like money. The satin, the gloves and the gold storefront sell the joke before the broom even arrives.
  • Treat the broom as a valet. The broomstick gliding to the curb is the whole turn and needs no line to explain it.
  • Land the caption on lift-off. Darling, I don't fly economy arrives as she clears the palms, so word and image hit together.

2. Frog and chameleon turn a snake into a bridge

Frog and chameleon turn a snake into a bridge

📈 5,479,813 views · 66× @funnyfroggystudio's usual

▶ Watch on Instagram

A frog and a chameleon eye a fruit tree across a cliff gap, and the frog's first leap falls short. A grumpy snake looms, they tie it into a rope bridge, cross on its back and eat their fill, and I did not see that coming.

“Arey sapwa aaj toh tujhe ullu bana diya😂😂”

— a viewer, @sukur_biggboss09

Why it works:

  • Show the failed leap first. The frog falling short proves the gap is real before the snake slides into frame.
  • Make the threat the tool. The snake arrives as danger and ends up as a bridge, a reversal that works without a word.
  • Untie the snake at the end. Letting it slink off keeps the pair likeable, so parents pass it to kids without a thought.

3. Two parents buried under a living room of newborns

Two parents buried under a living room of newborns

📈 5,194,575 views · 39× @valentinloiseau.ai's usual

▶ Watch on Instagram

A living room is carpeted with dozens of swaddled newborns, two wrecked parents somewhere in the middle. Dad mixes formula on the floor, looks straight into the lens without a flicker, and the caption I keep repeating lands it: just one more baby, they said.

“There’s space for 1 more to his left”

— a viewer, @accastudy_

Why it works:

  • Fill every inch of frame. The first frame has no empty floor, so the scale of the joke reads in one second.
  • Keep Dad dead straight. He looks into the lens, goes back to the formula, and the missing reaction is the joke.
  • Let the audio sound real. A baby crying and his quiet Shh, it's okay make an impossible room feel lived in.

She takes off her makeup, he takes off his hair

📈 41,616,546 views · 37× @rosymielle's usual

She wipes off her makeup in bed while her glam husband smirks, and I thought I knew where this went. Layer by layer she becomes towel, green mask and retainer, he looks horrified, then grins and lifts his whole pompadour off his bald head.

“Basado en hechos reales 😂”

— a viewer, @andrees96_

Why it works:

  • Let him smirk first. His confidence while she wipes off the first layer is what makes his own reveal land.
  • Stack the reveals in layers. Towel, then green mask, then retainer, each one a beat, so viewers wait for the next.
  • Give the dog the last look. The traumatized dog in the corner is the reaction shot people send to a partner.

A man makes his morning coffee in a kitchen flooded to the shins and insists it is a small drip, until the plumber wades in.
[CHARACTERS]
@Justin-time (the homeowner): grey waffle-knit long-sleeve, navy plaid pajama pants, yellow rain boots. @Natasha (the plumber): navy work shirt with rolled sleeves, tan work pants, black rubber boots, a canvas tool bag.

[SHOTS]
0–7 s, wide, slow push in: water covers the kitchen floor to the shins and @Justin-time wades calmly to the coffee maker. @Justin-time: "It's a small drip, honestly."
7–14 s, medium, static: he pours his coffee as the rubber duck bumps his boot, and he nudges it along. @Justin-time: "I've been meaning to call someone."
14–21 s, medium two-shot, slow pan: @Natasha wades in through the doorway holding the tool bag above the water and stops to look at him. @Natasha: "Small drip. Sure."
21–26 s, close on @Natasha, static: she reaches under the sink, turns a wrench once, and the water starts to drain with a gurgle as she looks up. @Natasha: "Call before the ducks move in."

🤫 The Daily Secret

The after photo is your weakest ad

An orthodontist wrote to me last week with a feed I could have described before I opened it. She asked how AI could help her practice grow, because she was posting a finished smile every Tuesday and the phone was not ringing any more than it had before. Every photo was the same: straight teeth, good lighting, a caption with the word confidence in it. She wanted to know whether an AI video of a smile would do better than a photo of one.

I told her the after photo is the one asset every orthodontist in her county already has, so it cannot be the reason a parent picks her. Nobody is scared of the result. They are scared of the middle: the bill at the first consult, the kid who will not wear the rubber bands, the wax, the popcorn ban, the retainer still in the bathroom at 32. That is the two years she was skipping, and it is the only part a parent cannot see anywhere else.
