I opened 29 accounts' clips before 6 and four made it in; 8 launch stories gave me three. I kept a stickman pumping his pay into the boss's tower, a chrome puddle that gets into a locked truck, a woman who stops Cupid's arrow with one finger, and a man who skipped leg day for a decade. After them come a video model shaped by living neurons, a sound-effects model that takes stacked instructions, and Google's walk-in worlds, and last a garden center owner who only posted blooms.

The Biological Computing Co.'s neuron-shaped video model costs 2.5 cents a clip

The Biological Computing Co. put its image-to-video model on fal and OpenRouter, and the pitch is specific: it uses efficiencies the company found in living neurons, and it generates video 5x faster than its base model. The number that matters is price. Half a cent per second, so a five-second clip is 2.5 cents and 100 clips cost $2.50. That is a drafting price: ideas get cheap, finishing stays the work. The finished reel with your character is the part I make in Klovera.

ElevenLabs' SFX v3 follows several sound instructions in one prompt

ElevenLabs shipped SFX v3, a new text-to-sound model, and the part I care about is stacking: you can put several sound instructions in one prompt and it follows them more reliably, so a richer effect comes out of a single line of text. Their example is a cheering crowd, which tells me the target is layered scenes, not one door slam. Sound is half of why the clips above hold. In Klovera, the sound block of every prompt is where I put that layer.

Google DeepMind's Genie 4 builds photorealistic worlds with sound and physics

Google DeepMind's Genie 4 makes photorealistic, interactive 3D worlds with sound, dialogue and realistic physics. That is a different thing from a video model: a video gives you one take, a world gives you a place you can shoot from any angle. Alongside it, Israeli rival Decart is linked to reports of a possible $7 billion Amazon acquisition, which says how much money thinks worlds are next. A reel still needs a scene, a character and a line, and that is what I build in Klovera.

Zoom out and the story flips

Zoom out and the story flips. Each of these four opens on a picture that already reads as complete, then pulls back and corrects it: the gift is crumbs, the locked door is useless, the refusal is a full heart, the chest is a joke. I think this is working now because viewers feel clever when the correction lands, and clever is what people forward.

1. A stickman pumps his own pay into the boss's tower

A stickman pumps his own pay into the boss's tower

📈 18,259,981 views · 1,210× @rasel_vai36's usual

▶ Watch on Instagram

A sweating stickman hauls on a red pump while his pay runs up a glass pipe into the boss's tower of cash. I watched the manager hand him one bill, he lights up and pumps twice as hard, and the tower shoots into the clouds.

“Reality ✅ brother 🔥🤭”

— a viewer, @__s__azmir__king__143

Why it works:

  • Label the three tiers. The glowing EMPLOYEE, MANAGER and BOSS signs tell me the whole hierarchy before anyone moves.
  • Make the money visible. Cash running up a clear pipe into the tower turns an abstract complaint into a picture.
  • Pay him one bill. The grin at a single note is the twist that makes every worker tag a coworker.

Liquid metal gets into the truck she just locked

📈 21,890,929 views · 972× @a.little.orbit's usual

▶ Watch on Instagram

I watched a boot get stuck in a chrome puddle that grabs back, in a dark parking garage. She stomps free, runs barefoot to a pickup, locks the door, breathes out, and the metal seeps through the seam and sits up beside her.

“Only and one Terminator 😁”

— a viewer, @fck__2020

Why it works:

  • Start with the boot stuck. A puddle that grabs back is the whole premise in one frame, no setup needed.
  • Give her the relief beat. The locked door and the breath out made me relax exactly one second too early.
  • Bring it through the seam. The metal sitting up on the seat is the payoff: the thing she locked out is in.

Mom stops Cupid's arrow with one finger, then the reveal

📈 1,164,781 views · 159× @ai.creatorlab_'s usual

▶ Watch on Instagram

Cupid aims a golden arrow at a woman passing a café, and she stops it dead on one finger: I'm too busy. Then comes the reveal of what keeps her busy: her baby grabs her face and kisses her until she cries happy tears.

“Love to all the single moms❤️❤️❤️”

— a viewer, @caro_95_2k

Why it works:

  • Stop the arrow on one finger. A woman blocking Cupid with a fingertip and three words is the scroll-stopper, not the baby.
  • Keep the reason hidden. Viewers assume she is cold or lonely, and the clip holds that misread until the baby appears.
  • Let the kiss run long. The baby saying mama and kissing her until she cries is what single moms send each other.

An ordinary café sidewalk, and a man walks toward camera with impossibly wide shoulders. He keeps coming, the torso keeps growing while everyone around him stays normal, and I laughed at the reveal: broom-handle legs under a refrigerator of a body, checking his phone.

“En ese gym No habían ejercicios para las piernas 😂😃”

— a viewer, @capricornio_318i

Why it works:

  • Keep the street ordinary. Café tables, cyclists and backpacks stay normal, so the shoulders are the only thing wrong in frame.
  • Let the torso keep growing. He walks toward camera and gets wider the whole time, so the joke builds instead of landing once.
  • Reveal the legs last. Broom-handle legs under a fridge of a body, plus the calm phone check, is the leg-day punchline.

[SHOTS]
0–7 s, extreme close-up, static: receipts flipping under a man's fingers, a damp forehead, a calculator tape curling off the table. @Justin-time: "Forty-one gas receipts. Eleven are for tacos."
7–14 s, slow pull back to medium: he is calm, sorting into neat piles, humming to himself. @Justin-time: "Tacos are a business expense. Mostly."
14–21 s, wider pull back revealing the whole room: @Natasha asleep on the couch under a blanket, mouth open, one hand still on the shoebox. @Justin-time: "She sleeps. I sort. That's the deal."
21–27 s, medium on him, he taps the last pile flat, sets the lid on the shoebox and looks up at camera: the button. @Justin-time: "Drop the shoebox off. I'll do the rest."
[LOOK]
Handheld warm digital, amber lamp against a blue rain-streaked window, 35mm, light grain.
[SOUND]
Rain on glass, paper shuffling, calculator keys, a cat purring, the lines, music: soft brushed-drum lo-fi jazz, about 75 BPM, late-night and easy.

🤫 The Daily Secret

The dying plant sells more than the bloom

A garden center owner wrote to me last week with a screenshot of her feed, forty posts of hydrangeas at their peak, and asked how AI could help her sell more of them. She runs a family center outside Columbus, and the people who wander in on Saturdays look at the blooms, get nervous, and leave with a bag of mulch. I asked what they say at the register. Most of them say they will just kill it.

I told her something she did not love. A feed of perfect blooms makes a nervous beginner feel worse, it shows the one outcome she cannot picture. Nobody is buying the plant. They are buying permission to fail at it and still be welcome back. The half-dead fern in a grocery bag beats any hydrangea she can shoot. Most garden centers hide the dying plant because it looks like a bad ad. I think it is the only ad: it proves you are the place that helps after the sale, not just at it.
