How to Find a Seller on Amazon and SPY on your Competition. Let’s gets started.
Did you know that you can SPY on your competition on Amazon? Have you even thought about reverse engineering your product sourcing strategies by looking at what others are ALREADY selling on Amazon?
In this episode we’ll show you how to find what other sellers have listed for sale, what is actually selling and what you should be doing to grow your own business.
Let’s find a seller and their product listings.
To find a list of what your competitors are selling, do this:
Find a listing of an item you are interested in. You can use any random Amazon page OR you can use a BOLO Deals item. Either way, find the item and take a look at the Amazon detail page.
On the right-hand side of the product page, you can add the specific product to your cart (don’t do that)
Under that option, you find the “sold by” selections
Click the link to find out more information about the seller
Finally, Click on the “Visit the (Store name) Storefront”
How do you do this - and why would you want to?
For starters, you can use your competitors products as potential “Auto Ungate” ASINs. Think of it this way - every item listed on Amazon is ungated to sell that item. You will find that, on average, 21% of the items you find will be “automatically” ungated.
*** If the seller is listing brand names such as Nike, Apple, etc., there is no need to even try to list those items. Auto Ungating works best when the seller has a variety of items from different brands and categories.
You will discover product sourcing opportunities that you might not have thought of previously.
Here’s the Step by Step Process
Step 1: Review BOLO Deals:

Here you will see a potential opportunity. This example is NOT about selling this One a Day Vitamins. What you need to do is simply CLICK the ASIN link to be taken directly to Amazon.
Next, Click on the “Other Sellers on Amazon” link.

From here you would click on the link to the Seller - in this case it would be “Best Deal 4Less”

And… just like that we can see the list of 255 items this seller has for sale. Let’s look at the second item on the list:

Click on the “Spalding Back Atcha Ball”

First, we can see that there are 14 sellers of this item - so, you can literally repeat this process infinite times, over and over again.
Second, let’s look further into this item. It’s listed for $35.87 however where do we buy it?
Let’s copy the title and search on Google for Spalding Back Atcha Ball

And, there it is - for sale from Academy Sports for $18.99.

Whether or not this item is selling or is profitable is not the purpose of this example. The purpose is to provide you with an additional opportunity to discover items for sale, how to “brainstorm” by swiping ideas from competitors and quickly find items to sell.
