From Adam
With more than $50 million in personal online sales, and an Internet Mastery community that has passed $1 billion in sales, I've seen one thing decide who wins online more than anything else.
It isn't price, and it isn't even the product. It's how well you show it.
For years that meant photos, and good photos were enough. They aren't anymore. Buyers now spend their day scrolling TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and what stops them isn't a product on a white background. It's a person holding something and talking about it like a friend would.
Whether you're just getting started or already selling, you've probably felt this. And you've probably put it off, because making a product video has always meant a camera, someone good on camera, a location, an editor and a week you don't have.
That's the problem we set out to solve, and today I'll show you the solution. First, here's what you should be making.
The 7 product videos every online seller needs
1. The "I found this" video. A real-looking customer in her kitchen, talking to her phone, telling a friend about your product. It's the most-copied video ad format online, because it doesn't feel like an ad.
2. The street interview. A host with a mic stops strangers, asks one question and hands them your product. Real reactions stop the scroll.
3. The podcast clip. Two people at a table mid-conversation, and your product comes up the way things come up when people actually talk. It borrows the trust people give the shows they listen to.
4. The day in the life. A morning, a commute, a workout, an evening, with your product living naturally in one of those moments. Buyers picture it in their own day.
5. The mini-movie. Two characters, a problem, a twist, and your product saves the moment. People watch to the end, and the end is where the sale happens.
6. The founder story. Why you made it and who it's for. It's the one video that turns a product into a brand.
7. The explainer. A presenter in the corner of the screen while your product or your listing fills the frame behind her.

You don't need all seven on day one. One good "I found this" video for your best product will do more for you than a hundred new photos.
What makes a product video actually sell
Whichever of the seven you make, the ones that work follow the same five rules:
- Win the first two seconds. Open mid-sentence, mid-motion, mid-problem. "Some mornings I wake up feeling like I ran a marathon in my sleep" beats "Hi, today I want to tell you about…" every time.
- Lead with a person, not the product. People stop for faces. The product arrives once they care.
- One problem, one product. Don't list ten features. Tell one story about one frustration, and let the product end it.
- Put it in their hand. Show the product being held and used, with the label turned to the camera, not floating on a background.
- End with one clear ask. "Tap the link." "Check it out on Amazon." One ask, not three.
How to make them in Klovera
This is where it gets simple.
Paste the link to your product: Amazon, eBay, Shopify, your own site, any product page. Add your product photos.
Klovera reads the page and writes three different angles for your video. Pick one, and it writes the copy with you line by line. Then it casts a real-looking person, sets the scene, puts your product in her hand and renders a finished vertical video with subtitles.
I tested it today on a product listing. Lauren, at her kitchen counter, starts with "Some mornings I wake up feeling like I ran a marathon in my sleep…" and ends holding the bottle up to the camera with the label sharp and readable. Nobody filmed anything.

Where to use them
One video can work in four places:
- Social: post it on TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with your link sending viewers to your website, your store, or your Amazon or eBay listing.
- Ads: run it as a Meta ad. Klovera exports the exact ad size.
- Your listings: upload it to your Amazon, eBay or Shopify product page, wherever your marketplace allows video.
- Everywhere else: your website, your emails, your landing pages.
You own every video, with no watermark.
The five-video test
Here's the habit that separates sellers who guess from sellers who know.
Don't make one video for a product. Make five: the same product, five different hooks. One about the problem, one about a moment, one funny, one heartfelt, one street interview. Post them all, or run them as ads, and within days your buyers will tell you which one works. Then make more like the winner.
It used to take a whole production budget. Now it takes an afternoon.
Just starting, or already selling?
If you're just starting, make a video before you buy inventory. Put it in front of people, see who clicks, and let the market tell you what to stock. You don't need a studio, a camera or a following. You need a product link.
If you're already selling, every ad wears out. Fresh videos for your best products every week keep your costs down and your sales up, without ever booking a shoot.
Rather have it done for you?
Our team will write, cast, render and review your product videos for you, and you approve each one before delivery.
Get paid to share it
If your audience sells online, they need this too. Every Klovera member can become a partner and earn a recurring commission on every subscription they refer, up to 30% on Partner Pro. Any video you make in Klovera can go straight to your partner page as ready-made promo content.
I've built a lot of things in 35 years. This is the one I wish I'd had from day one.
Pick your best product. Paste the link. See what comes back.

P.S. Start with the "I found this" video. It's the one that sells.
